Plateau de Saclay Debating; Friendly Fest “Christmas: Magic or Madness?”

À propos de cet événement

Is Christmas truly the most wonderful time of the year, or is it overrated and over-visible? Whether your students are passionate about Christmas traditions or ready to challenge the festive hype, this theme promises lively exchanges, creative arguments, and plenty of opportunities to see things from a different perspective! The event will bring together debaters from several higher education institutions across the Plateau de Saclay: • CentraleSupélec • Ecole polytechnique • ENSAE • Faculté des Sciences d'Orsay • IOGS • Télécom Paris Beyond the competitive element, the Debating Friendly Fest promotes and celebrates critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, active listening, the ability to express and defend an opinion while remaining open to other viewpoints. It is also a wonderful opportunity for students to practise their communication skills, meet peers from other institutions, and experience the value of constructive debate in a friendly and stimulating environment.
