À propos de cet événement
The world’s most loved and performed opera, Giuseppe Verdi’s masterpiece, will open the 103rd Arena di Verona Opera Festival in a new production which, for the first time in Arena history, will bring one of the French capital’s most iconic institutions to Verona: the Moulin Rouge. The production is signed by Scottish opera director Paul Curran. This original and aesthetically powerful interpretation will transport the audience into Paris at the turn of the 20th century, a meeting place and artistic and intellectual melting pot. A meticulous historical reconstruction – sacrificing nothing in terms of spectacle – will bring to life the nightlife of Montmartre and the splendours of Belle Époque Paris.
